SWPBS

At Rochester Secondary College we have adopted a Schoolwide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS) framework. This is an evidence-based, whole school framework that guides expected behaviours and values, through agreement by all staff, students, and parents on what expected behaviour looks like and sounds like at our school.

A key aspect of the SWPBS is the Rewards Cards System which students and staff have embraced and regard highly. By acknowledging and rewarding expected and positive behaviours, we are changing the culture of our school.

MHP

Rochester Secondary College provides onsite mental health support to all students daily. Students can self-refer or contact the Wellbeing Inclusion & Intervention Leader for assistance with the referral process. Our MHP also provides education for students and staff on current areas of concern.
